Accessibility approach

BrainMeter aims to provide clear headings, descriptive links, labeled controls, visible keyboard focus, readable contrast, responsive layouts, and interfaces that work with common keyboard and touch input. Navigation menus expose their expanded state, dialogs are labeled, and decorative icons do not replace essential text.

Keyboard support

Core navigation and ordinary buttons can be reached by keyboard. Shortcut-training tools intentionally listen for key combinations, while some system or browser commands cannot be captured safely and use visible simulation choices. Focus should remain visible, and Escape closes supported navigation or search overlays.

Exercise-specific limitations

Some exercises depend on color differences, audio, timing, dragging, rapid pointer movement, or dense visual scanning. Those activities may not be suitable for every visitor or assistive technology. Category and tool pages explain relevant limitations, and users can select a different exercise that practices a similar idea through another response format.

Browser zoom, high-contrast settings, reduced motion preferences, speech voices, keyboard layouts, touch behavior, and screen-reader modes can alter an activity. Results obtained with accessibility adaptations remain valid descriptions of that adapted session but may not be comparable with another setup.

Reporting an accessibility problem

Use the Contact page to check whether a real contact method has been configured. A useful report identifies the page, control, browser, operating system, assistive technology, expected behavior, and observed problem. Do not include sensitive medical information. BrainMeter welcomes specific feedback that can improve access without weakening the task's stated rules.
