Essential storage and optional technologies

Cookie and Storage Policy

This policy explains the browser storage BrainMeter uses for requested features and how optional analytics or advertising would require appropriate consent.

Essential browser storage

BrainMeter uses local browser storage to save completed results, daily completion history, and related settings on the current device. This storage supports features the user requests and does not create a BrainMeter account. Disabling or clearing it may prevent progress from being retained.

The browser or hosting platform may also use strictly necessary cookies or storage for security, load balancing, abuse prevention, and delivery of the site. Those technologies support operation rather than optional audience profiling.

Optional analytics

BrainMeter does not currently activate a nonessential analytics integration. If analytics is added, the owner must document the provider, purpose, data, retention, and lawful basis. Where required, nonessential analytics must remain disabled until the visitor makes an applicable consent choice.

Advertising technologies

BrainMeter does not currently include advertising components, advertising placeholders, or a publisher identifier. If advertising is considered in the future, the site owner must first update the privacy and cookie information, configure a real provider, and implement consent controls where required. This policy does not activate advertising.

Your controls

You can clear BrainMeter progress from the Progress page and manage cookies or site data through browser settings. Blocking essential storage may limit functionality. Consent choices for any future optional technology should be available without making necessary tool controls confusing or inaccessible.
